Visions of Sugar Plums Dance In Our Heads as
the Obama Machine Prances and Forges Ahead

The news never stops is a lead in to a news network broadcast on a radio station or is it somebody describing the overly ambitious Obama machine in its quest to quickly transform our government with astounding speed and precision. While the machine is at work 24-7, there are bloggers, alternative media and dedicated patriots bringing the unreported news to the American people. This week some slow down to rejoice in the glory of our savior's birth as we worship, celebrate and spend warm, cozy times with family and friends.

With the Obama administration there is no down time, so to speak. As watchdogs, we cannot let our guards down. Can you believe that this is what we have come to in one short year? Many of us knew the consequences of this presidency. Now we understand the dimension of the consequences and the temerity it takes to defend our liberty.

With our heads turned to the tidings of the season, Obama, 9 days before Christmas (Dec. 16), amends an executive order. Why... with people's attention turned to other things it was the perfect time for Obama to alter a sentence in Executive Order 12425, giving added privileges, exemptions and immunities to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL). An organization that otherwise enjoys limited privileges and immunities, extended to them by President Reagan in EO 12425, will now enjoy the two sets of privileges and immunities that were previously withheld in Sec 2c of the order. Obama removed the exemptions, making INTERPOL immune from search and seizure.

The implications are vast, considering INTERPOL has a headquarters in Washington and a separate INTERPOL agency has been created in the Department of Justice. Are you getting the picture? It's not a good one! Can info be conveniently transferred to an agency in the DOJ and due process undermined? What do you think?

Nudge, nudge folks… This seems a minor change but let us break it out for you as we see it. Let’s look at the section from Executive Order 12425.

Here’s the text of 2(c), which this Executive Order now has applying to Interpol:

(c) Property and assets of international organizations, wherever located and by whomsoever held, shall be immune from search, unless such immunity be expressly waived, and from confiscation. The archives of international organizations shall be inviolable.

This now says that Interpol is no longer subject to the Freedom of Information Act. Their premises or staff can no longer be searched either. Their files are not subject to legal subpoena or discovery. Our government could just hand documents and files over to Interpol and Americans would no longer have access to them. Interpol can legallyPost Options keep files now on all citizens of the US with no right to redress.

In reality, we have just handed over our sovereignty. Interpol headquarters in the US is currently headquartered in the Department of Justice. A ‘separate’ Interpol agency has been created in the DOJ – let that sink in for a moment. Interpol has been granted diplomatic immunity now by Obama – they have exemption from being subject to search and seizure by law enforcement, US taxes and immunity from FOIA requests, etc. This action could also be used to divulge American military secrets and a whole host of horrific practices having to do with going after our military. It’s the road to internationalism on steroids.

This is serious stuff and it demands serious scrutiny by the American people, so you have your work cut out for you. Now you must educate yourself, educate others and ask for answers from the executive branch. Write local newspapers, call radio stations, make this a priority or accept the assaults on our system until submission is the only choice.

We are civilian soldiers fighting the a battle of our lifetime, confronting an amorphous enemy, an enemy that is not defined on a battlefield or by uniform. We are fighting an enemy that is not perceived as such and, that, is its greatest advantage. It will continue to be its most effective weapon in this war, one that eludes the opponent, producing complacency and inaction.

This complacency takes many forms among our citizenry. As the foot soldiers in this battle we are aware of the lack of interest and of the lack of understanding about the insidious nature of this enemy. We work hard to educate our fellow citizens about the imminent danger of our situation. We reach many, but there are still those that prefer to ignore the signs and resort to denial. I have never seen so many heroic, courageous, passionate, and committed people in the last 9 months, as I have organized, attended, rallied and filmed the Tea Party events. These dedicated people are my inspiration, my fellow patriots. The people who are responsible for creating a new voice, a consequential voice, a voice responsible for postponing a monumental vote in July that would have activated the OBAMA TRANSFORMATION of America. What's up Obama? Can't get your big government policies approved by the adults in this country, so you have to use the schools as a venue to bring about the change you want. If your motives were in the interest of the children your suggestion might warrant consideration. But you're not worried about improving education because that could be accomplished with innovation, without extending the school day. Let's face it, longer school days mean more time for Obama addresses to our children, with followup lessons to compliment the indoctrination and the final objective being the promise to serve Obama.

Crowds Throng to Washington for Historic Event



I am proud to say I was one of those million people who answered the call to advance our movement and I left more energized and ready to inspire others to keep up the fight.

Anyone in attendance would agree that the day symbolized the strength and determination of the American people to stand up and defend their country from the erosive policies coming out of the Obama Administration. It also established, if it wasn't already, an exhilaration or momentum of emotion to continue to work even harder, as we battle to sustain our liberty. Because the American people understand what is at stake, they joined forces and efforts from around the country to produce the rally of all rallies, a March that is being estimated by Washington Parks and Recreation, to have reached 1,000,000, maybe more.

I was there, I can attest to those estimates. From sheer observation, standing in front of the Capital, what was supposed to be the destination of the march, was really the beginning of a multitude of people taking up every square inch of street from The Capital, down Constitution Ave to Pennsylvania Ave, to Freedom Plaza, which is about 1.5 miles.

There is a model that was used to determine previous crowd sizes in Washington and according to that model the count on 9/12 easily reached a million.

Are we surprised that the mainstream media won't report accurate numbers? Not only won't they report accurate numbers, they continue to distort the significance of the movement and the people. They continue to invent scenarios as if they are credible accounts. I watched a guest on Sunday morning (day after Wahington March), Fox News America HQ, with host Shannon, describe the 9/12 event as another rally to create disturbance (if anyone saw the interview, please contact me with her name). This woman was probably not in Washington, but yet she will make an erroneous statement and it will be put out there as fact, when it couldn't be further from the truth. As you can see from my pictures there couldn't have been a more harmonious crowd. They gathered with families; babies, children, husbands, wives, sisters, brothers and friends and neighbors in the grandest show of support to Take Back what Lincoln said, is a government "Of the People, By the People and For the People".

Our movement will always be guided by the principles of the Founding Fathers, who knew the cost of establishing freedom and the infinite cost of protecting it. We must be guardians of this incredible gift of America that has contributed not only to its own people, but to the freedom and well being of people around the globe. We must stand beside her and and be guided by the words of our first president, George Washington, who said,
"The power under the Constitution will always be in the hands of the people. It is entrusted for certain defined purposes, and for a certain limited period, to representatives of their own choosing; and whenever it is executed contrary to their interest, or not agreeable to their wishes, their servants can, and undoubtedly will, be recalled".

A Day of Remembrance

Let's never forget why people gather on September 11, every year. Most of us have an indelible image in our minds, that will never be erased. As much as Barack Obama wants to replace the meaning of the day with his self-serving agenda, we won't allow it. We will fiercely oppose him. It is our day to pay tribute, now and always, to those who died innocently, to those who bravely sacrificed, to those who persevered in the face of tragedy and to fellow Americans who stand strong in defense of our nation and its Constitution.

We must reject Obama' s immoral conception of superceding the real meaning of 9/11, with his phony dedication of a Day of Service and his audacity to force it on us on this most solemn day. What was wrong with dedicating another day to service? Nothing, except that his real motive wouldn't be accomplished, to erase the meaning of 9/11. You can't control our minds, how we think and feel or remember. Although if you get your hands on healthcare you'll have succeeded in being as close to God in making life and death decisions.

We must reject Obama and his policies, his revision of America and the significance of our history. We are our history, we are a wonderful collage of many races, ethnic groups, religions, diverse opinions and histories. Not one of us would want to relinquish any part of our identity and neither would any one of us deny any part of our shared American identity. So Mr. Obama stop manipulating history for your gain and to promote an UNPOPULAR agenda. We know you.

President Obama misspoke and did not intend to mislead the public when he said AARP had endorsed his health care legislation pending in Congress, the White House said Wednesday.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters that Obama did not mean to misinform Americans when he said Tuesday at a town hall in Portsmouth, N.H., that the senior lobby had backed his legislation.

CSA Hands off Healthcare Rally

The combined efforts of Tea Party groups across Long Island produced another impressive turnout today, Sat., Aug. 8th. Regular citizens took the time to exercise their 1st Ammendment Right to assemble peaceably. Hats off to a show of committed citizens who have a selfless stake in the preservation of our Democracy and the Constitution, the breath that sustains our great republic.

There is an amazing cross-section of people who attend these rallies, young and old, men and women, professional and non professional, working and retired, in good health and bad health, local and some from the outer boroughs, all so diverse but all with the common goal of preventing submission to arbitrary government programs. They see the writing on the wall. They understand the devastating, irreversible consequences of the Healthcare bill because many have educated themselves. They have read the parts of the bill that elicit concern and they are trying to educate others about it. They are doing the work our representatives delegate to their staff and our media deems unworthy to report. It was just this week, Wed. Aug. 5, that Arlen Specter irresponsibly said, "...when you have bills that are1000 pages ..... we divide up the bill... we have to make judgements very fast." He said this after being asked at a Town Hall meeting how he can vote confidently to reengineer our whole healthcare system. Is there any wonder people have mobilized, taken to the rallies and encouraged their neighbors to get informed ?

We have no confidence that our elected officials are performing on our behalf and the Town Hall meetings (if you can even arrange them) are indicating this every day. It is our duty to sustain this effort of reading bills, analyzing them, deciphering what impact they will have on our lives and educating others. We maintain that it is a necessary public service that we are providing, devoid of any self interest, unlike the pro healthcare operatives paid to show up at these events. I wouldn't have believed it unless I saw it and heard it myself. It was revealed to one of our members, during an exchange of ideas, that he(pro Healthcare plant) was being paid by the group that sent him. At 2:00 sharp, they promptly left their posts. Their shifts were over.I feel sorry for them, buying into a system that guarantees entitlement for the price of freedom.

ObamaCare specifically exempts members of Congress along with federal employees; the exemptions are in section 3116. If nationalized medicine is good enough for us then they have have to suffer as well.

What makes this scam on the American people all the more Obama-disgusting? Who could forget when Obama was telling everyone he wanted the people to have a health care program just like Congress has? Remember that? But Congress knows it's crap: it exempts itself and federal employees from it.

The US is becoming more like the old USSR, where the old good jobs are government jobs and the only way to get something done is to have a "friend" in the government. The USSR or Chicagoland gangsta politics.

Michelle Obama doesn't understand but we, Americans Understand the Plight of Military Families, We Always Have

'I think I was like most Americans,' she told ABC News. 'Pretty oblivious to the life of military families. Sort of taking it for granted.'", said Michelle Obama.

Don't put the American people in a category reflective of your views, Mrs. Obama. You describe yourself as oblivious to the plight of our military families. Most Americans do not share your limited understanding of the sacrifices of a military family. Most Americans would be shocked to hear how out of touch you really are. So when making such a cavalier statement, qualify the statement with a singular pronoun and leave the rest of us out of it. Actually, most Americans have such a deep respect for the sacrifices of their military that they tend to have them in their thoughts often and close to their hearts always. Is that a revelation, Mrs. Obama?

Obama Misguided Once Again

I left some things out of my last lines that are too significant to be left unsaid . They put the embodiment of this man in perspective. In an Op Ed piece written by Karl Rove last week, he very eloquently deflates Obama's comparison of himself to the honorable Abraham Lincoln.

Mr. Rove said, "President Barach Obama reveres Abraham Lincoln. But among the glaring differences between the two men is that Lincoln offered careful, rigorous, sustained arguments to advance his aims and, when disagreeing with political opponents, rarely relied on the lazy rhetorical device of "straw men". Mr. Obama, on the other hand, routinely ascribes to others views they don't espouse and says opposition to his policies is grounded in views no one really advocates."

On Tuesday night, Mr. Obama told Congress and the nation, "I reject the view that . . . says government has no role in laying the foundation for our common prosperity." Who exactly has that view? Certainly not congressional Republicans, who believe that through reasonable tax cuts, fiscal restraint, and prudent monetary policies government contributes to prosperity.

Mr. Obama also said that America's economic difficulties resulted when "regulations were gutted for the sake of a quick profit at the expense of a healthy market." Who gutted which regulations?

Perhaps it was President Bill Clinton who, along with then Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, removed restrictions on banks owning insurance companies in 1999. If so, were Mr. Clinton and Mr. Summers (now an Obama adviser) motivated by quick profit, or by the belief that the reform was necessary to modernize our financial industry?

Perhaps Mr. Obama was talking about George W. Bush. But Mr. Bush spent five years pushing to further regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. He was blocked by Democratic Sen. Chris Dodd and Rep. Barney Frank. Arriving in the Senate in 2005, Mr. Obama backed up Mr. Dodd's threat to filibuster Mr. Bush's needed reforms.

Even in an ostensibly nonpartisan speech marking Lincoln's 200th birthday, Mr. Obama used a straw-man argument, decrying "a philosophy that says every problem can be solved if only government would step out of the way; that if government were just dismantled, divvied up into tax breaks, and handed out to the wealthiest among us, it would somehow benefit us all. Such knee-jerk disdain for government -- this constant rejection of any common endeavor -- cannot rebuild our levees or our roads or our bridges."

Whose philosophy is this? Many Americans justifiably believe that government is too big and often acts in counterproductive ways. But that's a far cry from believing that in "every" case government is the problem or that government should be "dismantled" root and branch. Who -- other than an anarchist -- "constantly rejects any common endeavor" like building levees, roads or bridges?

During his news conference on Feb. 9, Mr. Obama decried an unnamed faction in the congressional stimulus debate as "a set of folks who -- I don't doubt their sincerity -- who just believe that we should do nothing."

Who were these sincere do-nothings? Every House Republican voted for an alternative stimulus plan, evidence that they wanted to do something. Every Senate Republican -- with the exception of Judd Gregg, who'd just withdrawn his nomination to be Mr. Obama's Commerce secretary and therefore voted "present" -- voted for alternative stimulus proposals.

Then there's Mr. Obama's description of the Bush-era tax cuts. "A surplus became an excuse to transfer wealth to the wealthy," he explained in his Tuesday speech, after earlier saying, "tax cuts alone can't solve all of our economic problems -- especially tax cuts that are targeted to the wealthiest few."

The Bush tax cuts were not targeted to "the wealthiest few." Everyone who paid federal income taxes received a tax cut, with the largest percentage of reductions going to those at the bottom. Last year, a family of four making $40,000 saved an average of $2,053 because of the Bush tax cuts. The tax code became more progressive as the share paid by the top 10% increased to 46.4% from 46% -- and the nation experienced 52 straight months of job growth after the cuts took effect. And since when is giving back some of what people pay in taxes "transferring wealth?"

In his inaugural address -- which was generally graceful toward the opposition -- Mr. Obama proclaimed, "We have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord." Which Republican ran against him on fear, conflict and discord?

Mr. Obama portrays himself as a nonideological, bipartisan voice of reason. Everyone resorts to straw men occasionally, but Mr. Obama's persistent use of the device is troubling. Continually characterizing those who disagree with you in a fundamentally dishonest way can be the sign of a person who lacks confidence in the merits of his ideas.

It was said that Lincoln crafted his arguments in "resonant words that enriched the political dialogue of his age." Mr. Obama's straw men aren't enriching the dialogue of our age. They are cheapening it. Mr. Obama should stop employing them.

In Obama's speech that night there were other misconceptions put forth like telling Congress he doesn't believe in bigger government. If he doesn't believe in big government then what do you call the intrusion of government into the energy sector, health care, the financial industry, and the banking and mortgage industry. A government he proposes by any other name would be just as encompassing and controlling. Daniel Henninger, from the Wall Street Journal said it right, "It would be a reordered economic system, its direction chosen and guided by Mr. Obama and his inner circle." I don't know if you want that inner circle yielding that much power and financial influence, when most of them can't even gettheir own finances straight.
